I really made out like a bandit at Christmas this year! My wife bought my son and I RC electric helicopters. Of course we had to set them up right away and test them out.
It didn’t matter that there was snow on the ground and the temperature was below freezing. My son and I raced outside to duel with each other. It took a little while to master the controls, but once we figured it out we were attempting to fly circles around each other all over the yard. My wife rolled her eyes and went back in the house, but I know she was secretly pleased that her gifts were so well received.
