I should have been a Nascar racer. I am pretty sure that I missed my calling. Watching the races is so exciting. Watching the crashes is not so exciting. I have always wanted to race my own car.
Luckily for me I own RC cars. They give me the feel of being a racer without having to worry about the damage of bodily harm. Every time I go out and race my cars it’s like living the dream of Nascar racing. It gives me the whole package.
When it comes to boys and their toys, you can never go wrong with boats, cars, trucks, and planes. Whatever they can bang up or race or both they are ecstatic. Boys love to play outside. They are rough and tough.
RC cars and trucks are great for every boy. They can be used outside in the street. My nephews race their cars and trucks for hours. The oldest nephew informed me that his truck is called “Mega” due to the fact that it’s a Megatech truck. Boys will be boys.
Organizing a regatta for remote control boats can be quite a fulfilling experience. All you need are willing participants, a large body of water, and a plan. If you already have enough friends with RC boats interested in a race, then your next task is to look for a large enough body of water.
A local park with a large pond or lake, or even a local unused rock quarry (many are now filled with water), will work just fine. Get permission to hold a race and then survey the area. Design a course to test the maneuverability of RC boats, as well as a straight-away course for side-by-side speed racing. Gather up your friends, slap on some sunscreen, and enjoy a day of fun! If you really want to go all out, hand out prizes for first, second, and third place winners.

The term ‘remote controlled cars’ conjures up an image of a toy car meant for kids to play with. There is a big difference in the remote controlled cars for kids and those meant for adults. Remote controlled cars are more complex and are a miniature version of a normal car running on actual fuel like nitro or gasoline, or some of them may even run on large batteries.
