Learning to Negotiate Turns
You have to learn to walk before you can run. The same concept applies to electric RC airplanes. Before you can learn how to do fancy tricks, you need to learn the basics. Making smooth turns is an important skill to master.
The first turn you make with one of your electric RC airplanes must come after the vehicle has climbed to a workable altitude. You need to reach at least tree-top height and then level out. Next, use your controllers to move the rudder. Remember to ease the plane around curves; don’t force the move. Once you’ve gotten comfortable with basic turns try taking your RC airplane out on a breezy day and learn to turn into and out of the airflow.
